Laser Tattoo Removal
Belcara Health uses high-power RevLite laser technology, the gold-standard for tattoo removal available today.
At Belcara Health, we use a new high power laser, RevLite, made by the makers of the MedLite, the gold standard in tattoo removal. The RevLite offers 60% more power which means fewer treatments and the ability to remove tattoos to completion. The RevLite technology offers our patients the latest in laser tattoo removal advancements, with the highest power, allowing the treatment to be completed in less time and with better results.
Although a tattoo looks like a simple painting on the skin, it’s actually a series of ink deposits placed deep under the epidermis – designed to last forever. The reality is that thousands of people decide to remove their tattoos each year because the designs are no longer relevant to their lifestyle. Lasers are the answer.
Lasers are the safest and most effective way to remove tattoos. With our wonderful RevLite technology, we have the option to use up to four different wavelengths, allowing us to remove multiple colors of tattoo ink.
How does it work?
The RevLite uses PhotoAcoustic energy to safely penetrate the skin and target the tattoo at its core. Each pass of the laser vibrates and gently shatters the tattoo ink into micro-particles that are eventually cleared through the body’s natural processes. Because the laser delivers the energy in a very precise ‘beam’, we can trace the design without damaging the surrounding skin.
How does it feel?
Patients say the experience feels similar to the tattoo application itself – a snap of a rubber band followed by a feeling of warmth. That said, it takes much longer to remove a tattoo than to get a tattoo – about 6 to 15 sessions, depending on the number of colors, the size of the design and the type of ink. Black tattoos are easier to remove than multi-colored designs — but all tattoos must be treated with the proper laser. You’ll notice a temporary whitening of the treated area. Over time, the tattoo fades and the skin will return to its original state.
How Much Does Laser Tattoo Removal Cost?
Fees for tattoo removal are per treatment and is determined based on size, color, and complexity. We do offer a discount for pre-payment of 4 or more treatments. During your initial complimentary consultation, your tattoo will be examined to determine a price per treatment and an estimated number of treatments required to achieve your desired results
